- I have to say the book is really, really a blessing. My childhood is very similar to what Wilson describes. Your section really opened my eyes. I have a step-mother, although not a Christian, but a decent woman. I realize a little more what she went through in marrying my Dad with 2 kids at home, and I have more appreciation for her.
